Mold Remediation
Mold can occur for many reasons. Known water damage, after a fire due to firefighting techniques and the unknown causes: moisture build-up or hidden leaks. Hidden mold is difficult to detect. If it cannot be seen, mold consultants rely on air quality testing and tools to help find moisture in building materials to make educated guesses at where mold may be growing.
Affected materials are removed and discarded. Framing that can be salvaged is sanded, disinfected, and treated with antimicrobial—all repairs performed to meet or exceed IICRC S500 standards. Final inspection comes from a 3rd -party licensed mold consultant, and includes final visual and air clearances to confirm mold has been successfully remediated.
